good thoughts

1. I found a positive out of being sick from a serious case of strep throat (that has moved into my sinuses by the way): the pharmacy made my cough syrup grape flavored! Do they secretly know that grape is always my choice? What if the government has that on file? What's your flavor?
2. Alot of good things have been said about "30 Rock", but the best thing about that show is that they are using Def Leppard's "Let's Get Rocked" as a promo song. They obviously know good music. I should know, I made up a dance to that song a couple of years ago and sent a senior class out with their rock on.
3. "You are the leader you were looking to find." I think I got that today.

A documentary to air on my birthday, 11/30/2008. I couldn't ask for a more awesome gift!

What a special day.

Sure I might have woken this morning like a slug, and then ran in to traffic therefore making me late to class - but oh how the day has changed. Let us review:

1. Contact improv with a fabulous teacher from the dance department, it really gets the body going for the day!
2. An advance directing lesson that ended in me acting like I was a pick-pocket gal from 1914. Very Cameron Diaz ala Gangs of New York.
3. An afternoon of decorating for fall, baking gluten-free cupcakes and a little rain shower.
4. The first evening of rehearsals for what is bound to be a fantastic production.

the pressure!

This week's horoscope, it's like a homework assignment I have to get real serious about.

Where did that side-mouth talking, hand in her back pockets gal go? She looks 40, and yet she is barely even 30. Did an alien suck out her twenty year old looks and take them away to the landfills of Scientology? The ladies of Desperate Housewives look 10-15 years younger than a girl that starred on the WB 4-5 years ago? Something ain't right.

Really?

Are we constantly in some weird fashion regurgitation? That question is rhetorical because the answer is obviously yes.
Anyway, are the eighties in rotation? Because I am seeing faded black jeans, and I can't believe it! I guess that is better that so light blue they are practically white jeans, or white jeans for that matter - or is it?
