my thoughts exactly

Someone else said it, but we all felt it:
Reunions with a family of inexpressibly dear friends, however painfully brief, can raise or return your self-awareness. Being near those select & amazing few people that have each contributed so essentially & uniquely to your evolution & who are so permanently inseparable from who you are makes obvious the void their absence leaves...& makes shamefully apparent how much duller & less creative people, conversations & life have become since the last time you were together. The realization at inevitably separating again from these amazing people, that it is both impossible & unreasonable to hold the rest of the world to the same standards & expectations as you do these few individuals is bittersweet...but a reminder of how lucky you are to have them, however infrequently...

I very sincerely love each of you dysfunctional fucks that this message relates to. I miss the shit out of you guys daily. An annual reunion is obligatory...this tradition needs to begin.

so fresh and so new

I switched shampoo, got my nails done and bought a new ring - I feel like a new person. My movements have changed, my inner feelings about my outer self have changed; I am awakened with a sense of freshness that seems incredibly vital. My awareness of this change has me wondering, how do men freshen up their lives?

About Me

East, Texas, United States
I am the brown eyed girl from the song. I'm full of conceited independence. I love my friends so I wised up and became fiercly loyal. I'm a southern social butterfly who also enjoys time to herself. Life is the great adventure and love is in the details.
